IONIS is an interdisciplinary and technology integrative project that involves a consortium of partners (ten organisations from five countries) with complementary expertise and profiles (research, SMEs and end-users) that collaborate closely in order to achieve the project objectives. The IONIS consortium partners combine expertise in the areas of scientific research (home telecare, mobility modeling, positioning methods, sensors networks...), prototyping process (user requirements definition, functional specification, implementation, system integration, test validation, installation...), services provision and access to end-users. Furthermore, the industrial IONIS partners, including its consortium SMEs are also putting specific focus on market-driven approaches (business models development and stakeholder involvement) and dissemination activities in order to efficiently exploit the IONIS project results.
